How it works
Choose a PDF and every page shows as a preview. Drag pages to rearrange them (on a phone, hold the grip in a page's corner), or use the arrows under each page, which also work from the keyboard. Each page has buttons to turn it, copy it or delete it. Tick several pages, or type their numbers, to turn, copy, delete or drag them together, and reverse the whole order in one go. Undo takes back the last change.
Add blank pages, or the pages of other PDFs, to make one document from several. When you press Save PDF, the pages are copied into a new PDF in your browser in the order shown. Links and bookmarks follow their pages to their new places; those that led to deleted pages are removed. The first PDF's title and author are kept.
To cut a PDF into several files, use Split PDF. To join whole PDFs, use Merge PDF, and to turn pages without copying them, use Rotate PDF.
Questions
How do I rearrange the pages of a PDF?
Choose the PDF and drag the pages into the order you want, or move a page one place at a time with the arrows under it. Then press Save PDF and download it. Nothing is uploaded.
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Press the bin under each page you don't want. To delete many at once, tick them, or type their numbers (like 2, 5-9) and press Select, then press Delete selected. Undo brings back a page deleted by mistake.
Can I add pages to a PDF?
Yes. Add PDF puts all the pages of another PDF after the last page you selected (or at the end), and you can then move or delete them like the others. Add blank page inserts an empty page the size of the one before it, and Duplicate copies a page.
Does organizing a PDF lower its quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, with their text, fonts, images and links, so nothing is re-compressed and text stays selectable. Turning a page only changes the way it is shown. A PDF that is locked with a password needs its password to open; the new PDF has none.
Limits
Opens PDFs of up to 100 MB each, up to 20 at a time, with up to 2,000 pages in the list. Everything is held in memory until you leave the page, so on a phone keep very large files to a few hundred pages. Damaged PDFs that your PDF reader repairs on the fly may not open here.
The new PDF doesn't keep file attachments, page labels or a digital signature. Form fields keep what is typed in them, but may no longer be fillable. Restrictions on printing or copying set in the original are not carried over, and the new PDF has no password.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. The files you open and what you type are never sent to a server, and nothing is stored after you close the page. See the privacy page.
