    How it works

    Choose or drop SVG files, or paste SVG code, and pick the size: a scale of the size the SVG says it is, or a width or height in pixels with its shape kept, or an exact width and height. Each SVG is opened by your browser as an image and drawn at that size on a canvas, then saved as a PNG, JPG or WebP, all on your device. You can convert up to 30 at a time and download them one by one or together as a ZIP.

    An SVG with no width or height counts its viewBox as its size. Images, fonts and styles that an SVG links to outside its own file can't be loaded, and named fonts that aren't installed on your device are replaced; the page says when either happens. SVG code copied from a web page often lacks the line that marks it as SVG, so that is added for you.

    Questions

    How do I convert SVG to PNG with a transparent background?

    Choose PNG and leave "Transparent background" ticked, which it is by default. Parts of the drawing with nothing on them stay see-through in the PNG. Untick it to fill them with a colour instead.

    How do I make a high-resolution PNG from an SVG?

    Choose a scale of 2×, 3× or 4×, or type the width or height you need in pixels, up to 16,384. The drawing is drawn again at that size, so edges and text stay sharp instead of being stretched.

    Why does my PNG look different from the SVG?

    An SVG drawn as a picture can't load images, fonts or styles from outside its own file, and its text can only use fonts installed on your device. The page names anything that was missing. Scripts in the SVG don't run, and an animated SVG shows how it looks at the start.

    Can I convert SVG to JPG or WebP?

    Yes: choose JPG or WebP under Convert to. JPG can't be see-through, so empty parts get the background colour, white unless you change it. Both are saved at 92% quality.

    Is it safe to convert an SVG from someone else?

    Yes. Your browser opens the SVG as an image, which never runs scripts in it or loads anything from the internet, and the file stays on your device.

    Limits

    Opens SVG and compressed SVGZ files up to 20 MB, 30 at a time. Makes images up to 16,384 pixels a side and 100 megapixels; phones can draw at most about 16.7 megapixels, so a very large size may be made smaller there, and the page says so. WebP images are at most 16,383 pixels a side.

    The image looks as your browser draws the SVG, so rare features (some filters, HTML inside the drawing) can look a little different from one browser to another. Text in fonts that aren't installed is drawn in another font; turn text into outlines in your drawing app for an exact copy.
