Make a static QR code for a link or text. It never expires, has no tracking redirect, and downloads as PNG or SVG.
How it works
Your text is encoded straight into the QR code, in your browser. A static code like this holds the link itself, so scanning it goes directly to your address with no redirect through us. It keeps working for as long as the link does, and there is nothing to expire, track or switch off.
Error correction lets a code survive smudges or a logo placed over it, at the cost of a denser pattern. Medium suits most uses; choose High if the code will be printed small, outdoors, or partly covered.
Limits
A static code can't be edited after it's printed. To change the destination, make a new code. There are no scan statistics, because nothing passes through a server.
One code holds at most 2,953 bytes at Low error correction (1,273 at High). Shorter content gives a simpler code that scans faster, so keep links short where you can.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. The files you open and what you type are never sent to a server, and nothing is stored after you close the page. See the privacy page.
